ABC Picture Book
Last week, Will and I made our own ABC Book by taking pictures with our camera. Will had a ton of fun running around the house trying to find things that start with a certain letter. He still hasn't mastered his letters yet, but it was a fun project to do. Here are a few of our favorite.
D is for Daddy

K is for Kathlyn

M is for Mommy (not my favorite, but Will took it and he is really proud.)

R is for Running (my favorite!)

U is for Under the Ocean (we had a hard time finding something for U)

W is for William

X is for X Marks the Spot

That was a fun project to do!

Christmas my way
This year we decided to start a new tradtion and do the ultimate Gingerbread house.

Yes power tools are nessary in building a house.

Just making a few modifications

You can never have too many LEDs

A few windows to see out of

A little family fun. That's if they will stop eating all the candy and put some on the house.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas

My Love

"I have now been married [four] years. I know what it is to live entirely for and with what I love best on earth. I hold myself supremely blessed--blessed beyond what language can express; because I am my husband's life as fully as he is mine. No woman was ever nearer to her mate than I am; ever more absolutely bone of his bone, and flesh of his flesh. I know no weariness of my [Joe's] society; he knows none of mine, any more that we each do of the pulsation of the heart that beats in our separate bosoms; consequently, we are ever together. To be together is for us to be at once as free as in solitude, as gay as in company. We talk, I believe, all day long; to talk to each other is but a more animated and an audible thinking. All my confidence is bestowed on him; all his confidence is devoted to me; we are precisely suited in character; perfect concord is the result." (Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre, 525)

Anniversary, Grandchildren, and Will
Wednesday was our four-year anniversary. We are both very suprised that we haven't killed each other yet. We have been blessed with four years of happiness, and we hope for many more. Joe was in Vegas for business on Wednesday and I wasn't expecting him home until Friday, but he suprised me by walking in the door Thursday afternoon. I was so excited to see him; he has been gone for three weeks. That would have been enough of an anniversary gift, but he also had gorgeous flowers for me. He is so sweet to think of me!!

Also, this week we've had my niece Amy here, which has been a load of fun! She is my parent's oldest grandchild and my baby girl Kat is their youngest. Photo op!! Very cute girls.
